You probably already have an email address, even if you have never used it. If your phone has the Play Store on it, there is a Google account attached — and that account is an email address.
Find the one you already have — Android
- Open Settings.
- Scroll down and tap Google.
- Your address is right at the top of that screen. It usually ends in @gmail.com.
That is your email address. Write it down — you will need it more than once.
iPhone
- Open Settings.
- Tap your name at the very top.
- The address under your name is your Apple account. If you also use Gmail, tap Settings → Mail → Accounts to see it.
Can you open it?
Finding the address is only half of it. You need to be able to read what arrives.
- Look for the Gmail app on your phone — the white envelope with red edges.
- Open it. If your messages are there, you are set.
- If it asks for a password and you don’t know it, tell us — we’ll sort it out with you.
Why we ask for this before registering your domain. The domain registry sends a confirmation link to your email. You have to click it. For a .in domain you get seven days; most other extensions give fifteen. If nobody clicks it, the registry suspends the domain and your website stops working — about a week after you paid for it.
That is the only reason we insist. It is not for marketing.

What we send you, and how often
- Domain confirmation — once, when we register it. You must click this one.
- Renewal reminders — 45 days before, then a few times closer to the date.
- A short monthly report, if you want it — how many people opened your card, called you, saved your number. You can turn this off.
We don’t sell your address, and we don’t send offers to it.
